§ Mr. Teddy Taylorasked the Prime Minister if she will make a further statement outlining her negotiation objectives for the Athens summit on 6 December.
§ The Prime MinisterOur major negotiating objectives are to reach agreement on an effective control of the rate of increase of agricultural and other expenditure and on an arrangement to ensure a fair sharing of the financial burden of the Community so that no country has to pay a share disproportionate to its relative national wealth. The 3W resolution of these problems will enable the Community to concentrate on the development of policies in areas of crucial importance to all member states.
