§ Mr. Kilroy-Silkasked the Secretary of State for Trade and Industry whether the undertakings given by Mr. Rupert Murdoch to Her Majesty's Government concerning the editorial independence of Times Newspapers Ltd. have been complied with.
§ Mr. TebbitIn accordance with the condition attached to my right hon. Friend's consent to the transfer of Times Newspapers Ltd., matters of editorial independence were included in the articles of the company. So far as I am aware they have been complied with.
