§ Mr. TrippierWe prefer Industrial Development Act schemes to encourage particular technologies or innovation without reference to the sector in which applicants operate, and to support individual firms in sectors like poultrymeat and eggs under those schemes against the criteria of sections 7 and 8 of the Industrial Development Act according to their location. A number of firms from the poultrymeat and eggs sector have recently been in receipt of such assistance, or have applications in appraisal at present.
