§ 30. Mr. Christopher Priceasked the Secretary of State for Foreign and Commonwealth Affairs what recent representations he has made about breaches of human rights in Turkey to the Turkish Government.
§ Mr. HurdWe continue to take opportunities to make the Turkish authorities aware of our concern over alleged 321W violations of human rights. The Turkish authorities maintain that they are making genuine efforts to investigate allegations and, where these allegations are proven, to punish the culprits. We shall continue to watch developments closely.
