§ Mr. OnslowWith our partners in the Five we are pursuing efforts to achieve an internationally acceptable settlement in accordance with the Security Council resolution 435. We await the outcome of separate continuing discussions on regional security issues, on which progress still depends. In present circumstances we believe that these negotiations offer the only realistic prospect of achieving a settlement. We remain in touch with the parties concerned.
