§ Dr. VaughanGuidance notes have been published for business interests and enforcement authorities on the Trade Descriptions (Origin Marking) (Miscellaneous Goods) Order 1981, which requires a wide range of British and foreign goods to be origin marked. Where origin markings are not required by law, I warmly welcome voluntary action to help consumers identify British goods of quality.
