§ Mr. John MacKayNone of the ambulances operated by the Scottish ambulance service is specially equipped to handle cardiac cases, but a vehicle based at the Western infirmary, Glasgow has been equipped to convey and tend patients requiring intensive care. The running costs of this vehicle are met by the Greater Glasgow health board and it is available for use as necessary in the board's area.
