Comparative figures are not yet available for 1982.

The above figures for the United Kingdom for 1970–75 inclusive differ from those supplied in my answer to the right hon. Member of 28 April—[Vol. 41, c. 407–8.]. The figures used in that answer for those years were taken from OECD(DAC) reports published prior to 1980. In 1980 the OECD's method of calculating official aid was revised to achieve full comparability between all OECD donors. The revised figures given in the present answer provide a consistent set of figures for the whole period.
