What role they have played in the setting up of the proposed Agricultural Genetics Company.

This is a matter for the British Technology Group and other prospective private sector investing partners in the proposed new company. I understand that the Agricultural Research Council, which receives a grant-in-aid from the Department of Education and Science, is discussing the terms of research and marketing arrangements which would involve both the council and the proposed company and which would be essential to any such company's operations.
