§ Mr. MacGregorIndustry in Peterborough qualifies for financial assistance under a variety of schemes run by my Department. All financial assistance is in the form of grants.
Since May 1979, 13 offers of assistance totalling £1.2 million have been made to companies in Peterborough under section 8 of the Industrial Development Act 1982. In the same period there have been a further 13 offers of assistance amounting to £8.1 million under the Science and Technology Act.
