§ Mr. Hannamasked the Secretary of State for Employment if he will extend the youth training scheme to include over 18-year-old handicapped youngsters who, because of the extra time required for their schooling, generally stay on at school until the age of 20.
§ Mr. Peter Morrison[pursuant to his reply, 22 March 1983, c. 361]: The chairman of the Manpower Services Commission has recently written to the Secretary of State suggesting that the age limit for the entry of disabled youngsters to the youth training scheme be raised from 18 to 21 years. My right hon. Friend is currently considering this suggestion.
