Such services and those of my own legal advisers are being undertaken in the normal course of their duties. My Department and those of the Secretaries of State for the Environment and for Transport are being represented by counsel, whose fees will be met from the law charges Vote and paid by the Treasury Solicitor's Department. I understand that it is not the practice of the Treasury Solicitor to disclose the fees paid to individual counsel.
