The following table gives, for Great Britain, the provisional figures for changes in the numbers of employees in employment in the industries specified between December 1981 and December 1982, the latest date for which comprehensive information is available. Figures are not available for typesetting machine manufacturing as the Department's employment statistics are analysed according to the 1968 standard industrial classification, which does not separately distinguish this industry.
