§ Mr. Buchanan-SmithMember states contribute to the Community's budget as a whole and not to individual common agricultural policy regimes. In 1982 the Community financed expenditure on sheepmeat premiums totalling about £140 million, of which £126 million was spent in the United Kingdom.
