§ Mr. OnslowBritish forces remain in Belize in accordance with the exchange of notes presented to Parliament in April 1982 in Cmnd. 8520. The agreement214W provides that the forces are under British command and military jurisdiction. The garrison is there at the request of the Belize Goernment to assist in the defence of Belize against external aggression.
