§ Mr. ParkinsonIn the first quarter of this year the deficit on our trade in manufactures with the rest of the European Community was £1.7 billion, £0.8 billion greater than in the first quarter of 1982.
§ 30. Mr. Teddy Taylorasked the Secretary of State for Trade and Industry what was the surplus or deficit in trade in manufactures with the European Community and the rest of the world, respectively, in the most recent annual period for which figures are available.
§ Mr. ParkinsonIn the year ending March 1983 there was a deficit of £5.1 billion on trade in manufactures with the rest of the European Community and a surplus of £6.1 billion with the rest of the world.
§ 31. Mr. John Fraserasked the Secretary of State for Trade and Industry when he expects the trade in manufactured goods to be in substantial surplus.
