§ Mr. WaddingtonThe recommendations in the recent report of the Home Affairs Committee, following its inquiry into British nationality fees, are being fully and carefully considered. This will take time. It is not possible, therefore, at this stage to estimate income during 1983–84, as it depends in part on the future level of fees, nor to estimate the cost of additional inquiries.
