§ Mr. Terry Davisasked the Secretary of State for Social Services whether he intends to consult any nongovernmental organisations in preparing the contribution of Her Majesty's Government to the proceedings of the international population conference to be held in Mexico City in August 1984.
§ Mr. John PattenYes. The Government have close working relationships with a number of non-Governmental organisations active in the field of population and will seek their views on the working documents for the conference once they are received. A large number of non-Governmental organisations will this September be taking part in international consultations preparatory to the 1984 conference, and will also be represented as observers at that conference.
