§ Mr. Andrew F. Bennettasked the Secretary of Stale for the Environment what consultations have taken place with interested bodies on the establishment of a code of practice for zoo inspectors; and what has resulted from the consultations that took place early in 1982.
§ Mr. WaldegraveGuidance for inspectors, including a model inspectors' report form, will be included in the Secretary of State's standards, for which provision is made in section 9 of the Zoo Licensing Act 1981. Since the earlier discussions a revised draft of the standards has been prepared; it will be issued very shortly as a basis for formal consultations.
