§ 35. Mr. Speedasked the Secretary of State for Defence how many compulsory redundancies he expects to make from the Royal Navy, the Royal Marines, the Army and the Royal Air Force, respectively, in the current and succeeding two financial years.
§ Mr. StanleyFifteen officers of the Royal Navy are due to leave on compulsory redundancy during the current financial year.
For future years it is not known how many of the redundancies declared will necessitate compulsory rather than voluntary retirement.
