§ Mr. Murphyasked the Secretary of State for Education and Science what consultations he is having over the future level of funding of polytechnics such as Hatfield with an above average number of technical courses.
§ Mr. BrookeMy right hon. Friend will be looking to the national advisory body for advice on the funding of polytechnics and other local authority higher education institutions in 1984–85. That advice may be expected to reflect, amongst other factors, the higher costs of technical subjects.
