§ Lord James Douglas-Hamiltonasked the Secretary of State for Scotland how many tenanted houses owned by housing associations have been sold to sitting tenants; whether any have been sold in the Link-Barnton schemes; and which housing associations have been involved in the sales.
§ Mr. AncramThe total number of houses sold by registered housing associations to sitting tenants as at 28 June 1983 is 38. None of the houses sold is in the Link Barnton scheme. In addition to those housing associations named in the answer given to my hon. Friend on 7 March, houses have now been sold by Gorgie-Dalry and Viewpoint housing associations.
