§ Mr. Wigleyasked the Secretary of State for Social Services if he will arrange for the regulations and instructions for authorised persons under the Marriages Act 1949 to be re-published with instructions included for guidance of registrars and their staff concerning the use of the Welsh language on marriage certificates.
§ Mr. John PattenThe Registrar General issued such instructions by circular in 1971. He has in hand their republication.
