§ Mr. Lawson[pursuant to his reply, 1 July 1983, c. 180]: Customs and Excise prints 4 leaflets and I official form in languages other than English or Welsh. All relate to customs procedures and duty-free allowances for persons entering the United Kingdom.
The Inland Revenue produces 27 leaflets and 105 official forms in languages other than English or Welsh. These fall into three groups relating to
- 1. claims made by foreign residents under double taxation agreements
- 2. inquiries made by the department of foreign residents
- 3. information provided to foreign residents or for use by foreign agencies.
