§ Miss Richardsonasked the Secretary of State for Foreign and Commonwealth Affairs what public funds have been allocated to the Government communications headquarters in the most recent financial year.
§ Mr. PymGovernment communications headquarters carries out highly classified work in the area of communications and communications security. It has therefore been the policy of successive Governments not to comment on details of its organisation or funding. It would not be in the public interest for me to depart from that policy.
