§ Mr. Wigleyasked the Chancellor of the Exchequer if he will arrange for the capital account of the annual accounts laid by the duchy of Cornwall to be published in a form which adequately identifies the assets held by the duchy, showing both the cost of their purchase and some indication of their current market value.
§ Sir Geoffrey HoweNo; the accounts will be presented in accordance with the provisions of the Duchy of Cornwall Management Act 1982 and in the format directed by the Lords Commissioners of the Treasury under the Duchies of Lancaster and Cornwall (Accounts) Act 1838.
