§ Mr. BrittanThe 1979 public expenditure plans in Cmnd. 7439 were expressed in 1978 survey prices whereas public expenditure is now planned in cash. A comparison of total expenditure planned in 1979 with subsequent revised plans for the years 1980–81 to 1982–83 was given on page 2 of Cmnd. 8789 published on 1 February.
