§ Dr. VaughanIn the past year I have received about 20 complaints from, or on behalf of, individual consumers about the activities of doorstep salesmen. In the past two years, Greater Manchester council, South Yorkshire county council and Oxfordshire county council have made representations concerning the doorstep sales provisions of the Consumer Credit Act 1974.
