§ Mr. Peter Rees1,017,000 motor vehicles were imported in total in 1982. Of these 69 per cent. came from other members of the European Community. Figures for other countries are not yet available for the full year.

§ Mr. Peter ReesFigures for January 1983 are not yet available. Sixty-eight thousand three hundred and forty-seven cars valued at £234 million cif were imported in December 1982, an increase of one per cent. over the number imported in December 1981 at a value of £213 million.
