Whether they encourage public bodies to draw the attention of the public to grants and loans they receive from the EEC.

Lord Belstead

Yes. We favour effective publicity for Community grants and loans, which is indeed required by the relevant regulations. For example, local authorities and other public bodies are asked to put up site notices acknowledging Community aid to capital projects, and are encouraged to mention European Community aid in their annual reports and press releases.
