Sir Hugh Fraserasked the Secretary of State for Foreign and Commonwealth Affairs if he will investigate the circumtances of the purported publication of secret documents of his Department relating to a meeting of Foreign Office representatives and ambassadors to the Middle East on 21 July 1949.
§ Mr. HurdThere is no need for an investigation. The documents referred to have been available at the Public Records Office since their release several years ago under the 30-year rule.
