§ Dr. David Clarkasked the Secretary of State for the Environment whether he has plans to monitor the financing and efficiency of national park authorities.
§ Mr. Tom King[pursuant to his reply, 17 December 1982, c. 297]: My right hon. Friend the Secretary of State for Wales and I have proposed a joint review, with the Countryside Commission, of the level of resources available to national park authorities and the efficiency and economy with which they are carrying out their responsibilities. Detailed terms of reference for this study will be drawn up in consultation with the relevant local authority associations.
