HC Deb 03 February 1983 vol 36 c156W
Mr. Marlow

asked the Minister of Agriculture, Fisheries and Food what proportion of Community net expenditure exclusive of refunds to the United Kingdom and Germany is likely to be spent on agriculture, taking into account the current disparity between European Community and world agricultural prices.

Mr. Peter Walker

If no allowance is made for the payment of the 1982 refunds for the United Kingdom and the Federal Republic of Germany, the provision allocated to the common agricultural policy would take up about 68 per cent. of the total Community Budget for 1983.
