HC Deb 03 February 1983 vol 36 c174W
Dr. Hampson

asked the Chancellor of the Exchequer if he has any change to announce in the cash limit for the Crown Estate Office Vote.

Mr. Brittan

Subject to parliamentary approval of the necessary supplementary Estimate, the cash limit for the Crown Estate Office (Class XVIII, Vote 15) is being increased by £25,000 from £1,215,000 to £1,240,000. The increase is to allow for part of the cost of certain salary increases, in particular for the Crown Estate Commissioners, and some increased administrative costs. Provisions on this Vote are not classified as public expenditure.
