§ Mr. HeseltineThe specific measures which we are taking to enhance our "out of area" capability are described in paragraph 304 of "The Falklands Campaign: The Lessons" (Cmnd. 8758). In addition, the general enhancements listed in paragraphs 307 to 309 and 311 of that White Paper will improve the flexibility and readiness of the services for operations both in support of NATO and elsewhere.
