§ Mr. Meacherasked the Secretary of State for Social Services (1) what amendments have been made to the S manual by circulars issued since the manual was published;
(2) whether the price of the S manual includes amendments made by circulars issued to local social security offices;
(3) whether the copies of the S manual which members of the public can see at supplementary benefit offices have been amended to take account of circulars issued since the manual was published.
§ Mr. NewtonCirculars neither amend nor form part of the S manual. Except for transitory material, the provisions of circulars are subsequently incorporated into the manual by means of amendments, the cost of which is included in the price of the manual.
