§ 49. Mr. Sternasked the Secretary of State for Education and Science what plans he has for future consultations with local authorities on initiatives for development of education.
§ Sir Keith JosephI have regular meetings with representatives of the Association of County Councils and the Association of Metropolitan Authorities to discuss matters of common concern. I will be meeting them next month to discuss possible initiatives which might be supported by education support grants in 1985–86.
