§ Mr. Winnickasked the Secretary of State for Social Services if he will make a statement on the latest position regarding the new general hospital in Walsall, the progress of the work to be undertaken and the likely completion date.
§ Mr. Kenneth ClarkeI gave approval on 6 December for West Midlands regional health authority to invite tenders for the new Walsall district general hospital. Work is expected to start in September 1984 and to be completed in the spring of 1988.
