§ Sir George YoungGross capital expenditure on housing by local authorities in England in April-September is estimated to be about £1,150 million. In the same period, authorities are estimated to have generated some £940 million of housing capital receipts. I am today placing in the Library information for each local authority about their housing capital expenditure and the prescribed proportion of their housing capital receipts.
