§ Mr. Steenasked the Minister of Agriculture, Fisheries and Food (1) if he will grant the appropriate licences to Eastern bloc fishing vessels to trade in the port of Dartmouth by way of shipment of processed fish; and if he will make a statement;
(2) if he will issue licences to fishing vessels from Russia, East Germany and Bulgaria to trade within the area covered by the Dart Harbour and Navigation Authority; and if there has been any change in the policy on issuing such licences within the last 12 months.
§ Mr. Jopling[pursuant to his reply, 13 December 1983]: For reasons of national security no such licences are being issued to Eastern bloc vessels in the area covered by the Dart Harbour and Navigation Authority.
