§ 52. Mr. Millanasked the Secretary of State for Trade and Industry what response he has made to the request from Rolls-Royce for launch aid for the V2500 aero-engine.
§ Mr. ButcherThe Government received Rolls-Royce's V2500 business case on 31 August and an application for launch aid on 18 October. The application is currently being assessed as speedily as possible and I hope that a decision can be reached in the near future.
