asked the Secretary of State for the Environment if he will put in the Library correspondence between his Department and the Nuclear Installations Inspectorate regarding safety at nuclear establishments.

There is a great deal of correspondence between my Department and the Nuclear Installations inspectorate on various matters and it is not the general practice to publish it. If the hon. Member has some specific point in mind, I shall consider whether there is any information that can be given.
