§ Dr. BoysonProviding an election for reduced national insurance contribution liability is not still current, a married woman who does not qualify for severe disablement allowance will, as is the position at present, nevertheless be credited with contributions during periods of incapacity for work. These credits will help to safeguard title to a retirement pension in her own right. If a married woman does not satisfy the contribution conditions for a retirement pension in her own right, she may well qualify on the basis of her husband's contributions.
