§ Sir George YoungThe broadcasting authorities occupy part of 1 Bridge street on a rent-free basis and cost information relating to accommodation occupied by them is not available. Some expenditure in support of the parliamentary sound archive unit has been incurred in recent years at the request of the House authorities but separate records have not been kept and this information could be made available only at disproportionate cost.
I have no information about the costs incurred by the broadcasting authorities.
