§ Mr. Ron Daviesasked the Secretary of State for Wales by what amount he expects public demand for housing improvement grant expenditure in Wales in 1984–85 to exceed that amount allocated by local authorities for such purposes.
§ Mr. Wyn RobertsDemand for grant expenditure is determined by the rate of approval of applications by local authorities. Similarly, the proportion of local authorities' resources to be devoted to grant expenditure next year is for each authority to determine.
