§ Mr. Altonasked the Secretary of State for Transport what recent representations he has received concerning the reduction of the level of rail services.
§ Mr. EyreSince the beginning of this year we have received three letters primarily on this subject, including the hon. Member's letter of 10 March forwarding representations from the Mossley Hill lines action committee about the line between Liverpool Lime street and Allerton. The levels of service on this line are the responsibility of the British Railways Board and Merseyside passenger transport authority. I shall be writing to the hon. Member shortly.
