§ 17. Mr. John Spellarasked the Secretary of State for Foreign and Commonwealth Affairs whether Dr. Walid Khalidi, a member of the Arab League delegation, was regarded as a representative of the Palestine Liberation Organisation.
§ Mr. PymDr. Walid Khalidi took part in the Arab League delegation as a representative of the Palestinian people. He holds no office in the PLO or any of its bodies.
§ 27. Mr. Home Robertsonasked the Secretary of State for Foreign and Commonwealth Affairs if he will make a statement on his recent discussions with Dr. Walid Khalidi.
§ Mr. PymDr. Walid Khalidi played a full part in the programme for this visit by the Arab League delegation, including the plenary session of talks with my right hon. Friend the Prime Minister and myself.
