§ Mr. Peter MorrisonThe Manpower Services Commission is publishing today a discussion paper about developing a strategy for adult training. It aims to encourage debate and raise awareness of the importance to our economic performance of adult training and retraining. The Commission has asked for comments by the end of June when it will report to the Government its findings. My right hon. Friend the Secretary of State for Employment will then decide on the appropriate action to take.
