§ Mr. Spearingasked the Minister of Agriculture, Fisheries and Food if he has published the general nature of the formula he uses in the cost-benefit analysis of schemes of land drainage in rural areas where the major beneficiary is agriculture; and, if such information is not yet available, whether he will consider publication.
§ Mrs. Fenner:There is not sufficient demand to justify publication of the method of assessment of agricultural benefit in grant aided land drainage schemes. Copies of the guidance notes have, however, been widely distributed and are available from my Department on request. I am sending a copy to the hon. Member.
