Mr. Hannam

asked the Secretary of State for the Environment if he will publish details of grants to voluntary organisations from his Department during the financial year 1982–83 showing the amount awarded to each organisation.

7. Urban Programme
The contribution from central Government to voluntary bodies under the Urban Programme is estimated at approximately £36 million in 1982–83, but this includes a substantial contribution from the Department of Health and Social Security and the Department of Education and Science.
